is the AsiaforKids.com Affiliate Program?
The AsiaforKids.com
Affiliate Program offers Affiliates a chance to sell books, music,
videos, software, dolls, T-shirts and more to their visitors, earn
money and increase traffic on their web site. As an Affiliate, you
can earn referral fees by linking to our site. AsiaforKids.com handles
all the Order Processing, Customer Service, Product Fulfillment
and recording while you sit back and earn referral fees.
Can
I participate if I live outside the United States?
Yes, you may
participate in the Affiliates Program if you live outside the United
States. We have customers all over the world. All you need to join
is a Web site (or an idea for a web site) that meets our qualifications.
How
much will I earn?
Affiliates earn commissions based on Qualifying Revenues. "Qualifying
Revenues" are revenues derived by us from our sales of Qualifying
Products, excluding costs for shipping and handling, sales tax
charges. The current commission schedule is:
5% commission on quarterly sales under $1,000
7% commission on quarterly sales of $1,000 to $9,999.99
10% commission on quarterly sales of $10,000 or more
You earn commissions on all qualifying sales except for products
returned to us by customers for refund in accordance with the Asia
for Kids refund policy. "Qualifying Revenues" is defined as money
collected from sales of regularly stocked and regularly priced product
minus returns. Commissions will not be paid on shipping & handling,
gift wrapping or sales tax charges, credit card processing fees
and bad debt. See Operating Agreement for details.
Are there sales quotas?
We pay commissions
for all products that you sell to customers you refer. Using
your unique Affiliate Code we track your sales. At the end of
each calendar quarter, all accounts are reviewed and we issue
checks for Affiliate members who have earned more than $50.00
in referral fees. If your account has earned less than $50.00,
we will carry your credit forward and issue you a check when you
have earned $50.00 or more.
How
much does it cost to become an AsiaforKids.com Affiliate?
It is free!
How are orders tracked
and credited to my site?
All links from your site to AsiaforKids.com
contain your site's unique source ID and the customer's cart number. Every time a user comes to
us via your links, we know to credit you when a purchase is made. Even if the user browses
for a while onour site, the sale will still be tracked to you source code. Whether you link to our Home
Page, a Catalog Category or a specific product we can suggest
which areas would be of the most interest to your visitors. While
at AsiaforKids.com, customers can add any title to their shopping
cart, return to the store to shop for more titles or
browse through the AsiaforKids.com online catalog. When ready
to purchase, customers simply press the "buy" button to order
product online. AsiaforKids.com will send customers an email confirming
their order, as well as handle the order fulfillment and any other
Customer Service needs.
How
will I receive sales information?
As a member
of the Affiliate Program, you will receive a quarterly check and sales report.
Does
my Web site qualify for the Affiliates Program?
Most Web sites
will qualify to participate in the program; however, we may reject
Web sites that we determine are unsuitable. All you need to join
is a Web site (or an idea for a web site) that does not:
Promote violence
Promote discrimination
based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation,
or age
Promote unlawful
activities
Promote the
use of bulk e-mail or spam
Promote the
use of pyramid schemes
Contain content
that is threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene or harassing
Violate intellectual
property rights
Contain nudity or pornographic material

What
are my responsibilities as an Affiliate member?
You are responsible
for:
- Creating accurate
links to our site so that we may track your sales.
- Displaying
the AsiaforKids.com Affiliate Program logo on your Home Page and
other prominent areas on your site.
- Ensuring that
your web site does not violate copyright, trademark and other laws.
- Ensuring that
your web site contains material that is appropriate for affiliation
with AsiaforKids.com, as stated in the AsiaforKids.com Affiliate
Program Operating Agreement.
We are responsible for:
- Order Processing
- Delivering
products
- Providing great
Customer Service and everything else!
May
I purchase products through my links for my own personal use?
According to our Operating Agreement, we do not pay referral fees
for personal orders. The AsiaforKids.com Affiliate Program is
designed to help you earn money and add value to your web site
by selling AsiaforKids.com products to your site visitors. The program is not
designed to discount products for personal use.
Do
I need to provide customer service?
No, AsiaforKids.com will provide all Order Processing and Customer
Service for your visitors.
May
I join other Affiliate programs?
Yes, although we recommend that you participate only in the Affiliate
program that works best for you. This will reduce confusion with
your site visitors. You should choose the program that pays you
the highest commissions, and provides your visitors with the best
customer experience and service to help you generate the most
referral fees.
Do I control the design of my store?
Yes, you control the design, navigation and editorial content
for your software store. You should
try to make your recommendations or links to AsiaforKids.com look
and feel like the rest of your site.
I
don't know how to write HTML - will AsiaforKids.com help me?
We cannot help each Affiliate learn about
HTML or web site development tools but there are readily available
resources through books on basic HTML skills, required to add
the AsiaforKids.com Affiliate link. Every Affiliate site is unique,
and we don't provide any kind of standard template for you to
start with. However, we do provide the required HTML code with your unique source ID required
for you to link to our site.
What
are my linking options?
You have a number of linking options. See our steps
on how to link to AsiaforKids.com for more detailed instructions.
Will
AsiaforKids.com supply me with logos, cover art or reviews?
Yes. Use the AsiaforKids.com logos and banners on your web site to show your
visitors that you're an AsiaforKids.com Affiliate member. You
can use product cover art if and only if you are using them for
the purpose of promoting them for sale by linking directly to
AsiaforkIds.com web site. We encourage you to write your own description
of the recommended title. You are fully responsible for ensuring
that your web site does not violate copyright, trademark and other
laws.
May
I list prices?
We strongly recommend that you do not list prices on your site.
We often change our prices to continue to provide customers with
the best value that may cause the prices you list to be outdated.
Displaying incorrect prices could result in confused and unsatisfied
customers.
Can
I take the order directly on my Web site and just send the customer
and order information to AsiaforKids.com?
No. To ensure that your visitors receive the most accurate and
up-to-date information, we require Affiliates to use the AsiaforKids.com
order system. Specifically, we update our prices and change the
availability of product everyday. By using our system, you ensure
that your visitors will have the most customer satisfaction, as
they will get the most up-to-date information and ordering options
available from AsiaforKids.com. In addition, a customer's contact
and billing information is a must for us to offer the best customer
service on the Web. I have more than one web site.
If I
have more than one web site, how do I register them?
You have two options: You can have one account listing all of
your URLs. If you choose this option, you will receive one combined
sales report and one combined referral check. Assigning the same
affiliate code for both sites does this. You can open a separate
account for each URL. This option will provide you with a separate
sales report for each site you maintain. Most Affiliates prefer
this option so that they can see the breakdown of traffic for
each site. You will also receive a separate check for each account.
For accounting purposes, we will not combine checks from multiple
accounts.
